Up!STYLE Your Paper Pumpkin

This first project uses only elements from the Exploring In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit. From the front it seems to be a rather simple alternative. This card is made with two full cards to create a fancy bi-fold.

When the Linen Thread bow is untied and the card is opened you start to see the fun of this alternative project. The inside is splattered with the Copper Clay Ink Spot and a Water Painter, the greetings are combined to make a focal feature, and an envelope was cut apart and adhered to the bottom for added color and decor.

Here the card is fully opened.  Before I attached the cards together I cut along the mountain line of the left half of the card and stopped at the scoreline. Next, I adhered the two cards together and form a pocket for a gift card or treat

For a 3D project I made card package to hold five cards. I mixed both cards from the Kit with the Exploring In Color Add On Cards and Envelopes. The package that holds the cards is made with the 2023-2025 In Color Treat Bags, the Zany Crew DSP, the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Twine, and the 2023-2025 In Color Stampin' Blends.

Each of the five Treat Bags holds one card and envelope. All the bags are attached with a folded piece of Pebbled Path Cardstock and then secured with a belly band.

In this photo you can see the Treat Bags are in the fully opened position.

Lighting the Way meets Pretty Peacock

Our theme for Stampin' Fancy Friday this month is all about color. I chose to feature Pretty Peacock. Several years back Pretty Peacock was an In Color and now has made a return to be one of the core colors for Stampin' Up!

I also decided I would create with the Lighting the Way Stamp Set and Dies. The lantern in that set of Dies makes for a strong focal element so I seem to keep using it over and over. I also thought it would be interesting to ink up the Cheerful Daisies Bundle to accent the lantern on one of my cards.

For this card my inks include Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite, and Lost Lagoon.
For the two shape layers I used the Nested Essentials Dies.

I mixed images from both Lighting the Way and Cheerful Daisies to frame and highlight the lantern. For both the lanterns I pre-inked my die before running it through the Stamp and Cut Emboss Machine.

Legendary Ride for Her

This was a FUN card to make. I loved mixing the Legendary Ride Stamp Set and Dies with the Fresh as a Daisy DSP!

I created a fancy fold to have a little extra space to add more stampin'. So, when you untie the box the smaller flap opens to reveal my second card, that's what I call it.

And here's a look at the inside.

Thanks for hanging out with us for our latest blog hop. Next up is Emily or go back to visit with Cheryl.

Legendary Ride: You're the Man

TGIF#421 is a theme challenge called "You're the Man." I thought that the Legendary Ride Bundle would be fabulous for this theme. I used the stamps and dies along with Fresh as a Daisy DSP, Silver Foil Specialty Paper, a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, along with Pretty Peacock and Garden Green Ink Pads.

I stamped the greeting on one end of a Tailor Made Tag and finished the tag with a Garden Green reinforcer and a piece of Linen Thread which I colored with a Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blend.

So Refreshing for an Inspo Challenge

For our latest challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have an inspiration board to get our creative juices moving. I decided the perfect stamps and dies for this challenge would be the So Refreshing Bundle. You can find the brand new bundle in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog on page 29.

For this "happiest birthday" card I started with a Thick Basic White card base and then layered with Lemon Loll and Azure Afternoon. I cut the azure layer with the Dots and Spots Die for a bit of added design. I also die cut a Basic White Tailor Made Tag to layer under all of my focal elements. My ink colors include Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, and Azure Afternoon.

Artisan Post #7: Gorgeously Made

For May my assignment was the Gorgeously Made Suite Collection. I am so captivated by the DSP in this Suite--it's stunning, bright, bold, dreamy, ethereal, and unique. There are lots and lots of torn paper details in the paper so I took my cue from that to include torn details in each project. You'll see a torn ruffle, torn flowers, and even a torn tree.  Scroll down to take a closer look.

The greeting images are small, simple and subtle. Yet they say so much. For this smaller square card I layered stamped images, splatters, embossing paste, die cuts, torn papers, and ribbon.

Dots and Spots for Creation Station

Welcome to our May Creation Station Blog Hop. This month our theme is "dots and spots." We could make whatever we wanted so long as we featured dots or spots or both. I went for both; a card with spots and a card with dots.

My two cards feature the So Refreshing Bundle which is brand new in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. I did add a few other products to complete these cards. I used one spot stamp from the Lighting the Way Stamp Set, the Dots and Spots Die, along with inks, cardstocks, and leftover twine from April's Paper Pumpkin Kit.

My color palette for both of these cards includes: Basic White, Bubble Bath, Calypso Coral, and Garden Green. And, I finished with Clear Wink of Stella.

These strawberries look simple but to give them a juicy look I colored them with a Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend and then painted them with Wink of Stella. Each berry sits atop a Bubble Bath spot. This is where I used the one image from Lighting the Way. It makes the perfect spot. In fact, there are three sizes of spots in that stamp set.

I stenciled the background for my second card with a handmade stencil. I die cut the Dots & Spots Die to create a FAST stencil. I used a Blending Brush and Bubble Bath Ink to swirl a soft dotty pattern for my So Refreshing stamped and die cut elements.

Have you taken a close look at the So Refreshing Bundle? It's found on page 29 of the Annual Catalog. Go take a look and check out how fun the dies are. The tiny strawberries are adorable.

It's been a pleasure to have you stop by my SeeigINKspots Blog for our Creation Station Dots and Spots themed blog hop. Hopefully you have been inspired to use spots and to dots in one of your next hand stamped creations. Next up in today's hop is the AMAZING Barb Pfeffer.
