Inspiration Board Challenge for Hand Stamped Sentiments

It's a happy Hand Stamped Sentiments day!  Our 367th challenge is all about an inspiration board.  I happen to love this board.  Maybe because this is one that I put together for our team.  I was inspired by the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper Pack by Stampin' Up!

For this challenge I included a small Rectangle Stitched Die cut of one of the designs from the Expressions in Ink DSP with crisp Basic White, gold foil Ephemera, and a Polished Pink sponged pansy.  I'm on a pansy kick right now as I just finished hosting a three-day summer intensive stamp camp.  The camp was all about the Pansy Patch Bundle.  (check back to see the projects from my camp)

Using Pansy Patch to Case the Catalog

Hello stampin' friends!  For this Monday Montage Blog Hop I wanted to show you a Pansy Patch card that I totally cased.  On page 169 in the Annual Catalog there is an adorable Sweet As a Peach card that I think has the coolest layout.  With that said I had to make my own version with the Pansy Petals DSP and the Pansy Patch Bundle.

I also used one of SU!'s color combinations featuring Pale Papaya which is one of the new '21-'23 In Colors.  I mixed the papaya color with Basic Grey/Smokey Slate and Calypso Coral.

It makes me happy to know you hopped by for our Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Click "back" to visit with Cheryl and "next" to check what Julie has been up to.

Farmhouse Chic for #TGIF

A bit of custom crafted shiplap and succulents were the perfect mix for #TGIF322.  This challenge is called Farmhouse Chic and is fun to interpret with color, stamps, and subtle texture.

For the shiplap I cut 1' strips of Basic White Cardstock and layered them on Evening Evergreen.  I added a small cluster of succulents in Pool Party and Smokey Slate.  What's really cool is the Shimmering In Color Vellum Paper.  The Soft Succulent Vellum is super pretty.  In fact all the In Color Vellum is gorgeous.

Stampin' Fancy Friday

This month's theme for the Stampin' Fancy Friday Team is to highlight one or more of the new 2021-2023 In Colors.  While I am loving all five of the new In Colors I did chose to mix Pale Papaya with a summery mix of Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, and Evening Evergreen.

I pulled out the All Squared Away Bundle and some "must have" super versatile die sets.  I use the Stitched Rectangles and Layering Circles Dies all the time.  For me those two die sets come in handy for all sorts of projects.  But getting back to the focal bundle on this card, All Squared Away, it's unlike any other stamp set and coordinating dies that I have.

If you take a close look you'll see I used just a touch of Evening Evergreen Ink.  It's deep and rich.  I think it's a great alternative to using Basic Black.  It stands out and is bold and I like to use colors like that for greetings to help them pop.

#TGIF321 Peek Through

Our latest them for #TGIF321 is to create a project with some sort of a window.  I grabbed the Always in My Heart Bundle to make my version of a peek-a-boo card.

I first made my window with a round opening using the Layering Circles Dies.  I cut that circle through both the Fresh Freesia card base and the layer of Pansy Petals DSP at one time to ensure that they were lined up perfectly.

I glued the cut out circle to the inside of the card so the gingham pattern would visually continue on through.  To decorate the window I added a Calypso Coral floral heart die from the Floral Heart Dies.  Next I added stamped and die cut florals and leaves from the Bundle.

Monday Montage is All Squared Away

Glad to have you here for our Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Today I am sharing card I made using the All Squared Away Bundle.

I grabbed four of the new 2021-23 In Colors.  My card base is Soft Succulent, ink colors include Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen.

Along the right side of the Basic White Stitched Rectangle I tucked a strip of Pansy Petals DSP.  For some embellishments I tied a bow of Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon and added Basic Rhinestones.  Oh how I love those rhinestones!  I like to add them to just about everything.

Next up in our hop is Melissa Stout.  Click on over and give her some love.  Or, if you like working the opposite direction, click back to check out what Cheryl has been up to.

Creation Station Floral Frenzy

It's that fun time again -- we're having a Creation Station Blog Hop.  This month's theme is Floral Frenzy with a Color Mash Up.  We are to use any of the current Stampin' Up! In Colors and white.  I chose to focus on all five of the newest 2021-23 In Colors and the Expressions in Ink Suite.

While all my supplies were out I sat and created three "floral frenzy" cards.  My first two cards have Thick Basic White card bases and no other added layers.  I enjoy the simplicity, the lightness, and airy feel of a crisp white card.  This first card includes three of the geometric punch outs from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.

I used the iridescent sequins from the Ephemera Pack to not only add a gorgeous pop of prettiness, but to also hold the gold geometric pieces in place.

For this card I added a Polished Pink die cut and a white embossed Stitched Rectangle along with more pieces from the Ephemera Pack.

I am enjoying all the new In Colors and I like to use the Evening Evergreen in place of black.

This last card is based on Pale Papaya and has a layer of Polished Pink and Basic White.  The white layer has been embossed with the new Macrame 3D Folder.  Of all the new folders this one is my favorite.

It's been fun to have you here today.  Next up along the hop is one of my most favorite stampin' friends ever, the beautiful Julie Beltramo.  Be sure to hop through alll the blogs to get some great floral inspiration.
