Decor Stencils

After attending Leadership Conference in Phoenix I got super jazzed about Stampin' Up!'s decor stencils. I have used them before with my air brush, but the use on cards and pages and 3-D projects was too cool. This card here was made by Dena R. and she used the Love U stencils. There are seven stencils in the pack for $14.95. Notice the background is also stenciled. The card is clean and simple, yet quite sophisticated.

Thanks Dena!

Is it Just Me?

Tell me, is this card super cute or what or is it just me? I don't normally layer ribbon like I would cardstock or designer series paper, but I just loved how this card came together. One major element on the card, other than the very cool Chocolate Bunny, is the greeting. The stamp comes from the set called Well Scripted. Let me just say, "the set is well worth the money." I bought the clear mount version and it is so easy to place the image just where you want. I also love how the text adds a perfect finishing touch to this card (and lots of others). Yes, embellishments are a must, but differing fonts just take a project all the way. As always all supplies are from Stampin' Up!

More Tiny Tags

I just can't get enough of this stamp set. The images are real small, but they are mighty awesome. I have lots of Simply Adorned jewelry pieces on order and I am jazzed to play around and make something amazing using the Tiny Tags stamp set. This card today features the set and the Beautiful Wings embosslit die. I love the layering of the tag punches to help bring a strong and clean focal to the card.

Three of Hearts

Using the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslits die I created this card for a swap. The designer series paper comes from the 6" x 6" Welcome Neighbor stack of paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog. The itty bitty stamps onand below the tag come from Tiny Tags. Don't you just love the jewlery tag punch? It is brand new and can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Tiny Tags Makes a Focal Point

While each of the stamps from the Tiny Tags stamp set are quite small, you can still create a focal point for your cards. I clustered three of the images to establish a much stronger statement on this card. I love to not only layer papers and embellishments, but it is always fun to give the illusion of depth and bring interest to a card by layering stamped images. All supplies are from Stampin' Up!

Occasions Mini Catalog is FABU

If you have not seen the new Occasions Mini Catalog check it out after reading this post. Just use the link to the right of the posts. On this very striking card I used the Tiny Tags stamp set for not only the tag, but also the epoxy brad in the center of the flower. All supplies are from Stampin' Up! Card size is 3" x 6".

Home from Phoenix

Well I am back from a long Holiday season at work, and from a great leadership conference in Phoenix Arizona. It was fabulously fun and inspiring. I saw lots of super amazing projects for the upcoming seasons. In this photo you'll see some of my favorite sideline and downline swappin' friends. I sometimes mention them on this blog when I post cards they have made. This was taken at a lunch at Leadership just last week. From left to right there is Julie B., Dena R., me, and Chari B. I can hardly wait to see everyone again at Convention--it would be fun to have you there too :0)
