Sweet Storybook Friends

I am branching out and venturing into working with stamp sets that are not my typical style or sets that I would not usually gravitate towards.  This set is totally adorable and absolutely perfect for creating sweet-classic-traditional children's projects.  This week the projects featured in the Create with Connie and Mary New Catalog Edition have showcased new stamp sets in the "Growing Up" section of the catalog.  If you want to see full color tutorials for these projects, make that all 30 of the projects, click on the "join us" button below.
How about a color challenge?  This great summer color combination challenge is being hosted by Create with Connie and Mary.  Click over and see all the inspiring samples and then join along in the stampin' fun!

My layout for this card was motivated by scraps in my card stock pile and a recent sketch challenge from Connie and Mary.  Once the card was finished I realized this is a hand deliver type card, or it will cost lots of extra pennies to mail as it has many layers.
