I can't say it enough that I just love the look of this project!
I call it Quatrefancy Door Decor. The colors and prints are cheerful and the combination of shapes and textures are whimsical and festive. The idea for this array of garlands and pennants is to surprise someone you love in the morning of a special day. You hang it over their bedroom door once they have gone to bed and then in the morning they will be greeted with a sweet surprise that is sure to put a smile their face.
Here is another look at a full view of the doorway.
I have attached all my garlands to a yardstick which is the perfect length to hang over a standard door. If you don't have a yardstick it would be easy to tie everything to a tension rod. But don't stop at hanging this eye catching decor over a door. It's cute over a small window as a valance, or over a mirror, or with your party decor showcasing a dessert display.
In less than two hours I was finished with the door decor and had it up and hanging. If you click over to Create with Connie and Mary you will find a FREE TUTORIAL for you to download with all the instructions and photos to make this totally fun Quatrefancy Door Decor.
