Today is the final Saturday of Card "Create"tions at Create with Connie and Mary. Each of the designers have made a simple favor with the stamp set they featured this week over at the subscription site. It's amazing how fast this mini-series has gone by, but it has surely been fun and inspirational.
My project came together rather quick. I cut three pieces of Gumball Green from the Floral Framelits and then used a smaller Floral Framelit to cut out the center. Then I stamped the flourish image from Open Sleigh with Gumball Green all over each cut piece. It is very subtle but in person it really adds some nice depth. I spritzed each layer with rubbing alcohol mixed with a few drops of Shimmer Paint and scrunched the pieces all up. I opened them up and glued them together to form my gorgeous layered wreath ornament. The images for the banner are also from the Open Sleigh set and I ran a Two-Way Glue Pen around the banner edges to add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. A bow, more glitter, and Basic Rhinestones make the ornament totally fabulous. The super nice thing about this quick and easy project is it doubles as an over-the-top gift tag.
Oh my word Elizabeth...I thought FOR SURE you had put REAL LEAVES on this! AMAZING (as always!) just AMAZING!!!!
