Catalog Inspiration for Stampin' Fancy Friday

I crafted this Cup of Tea card which was shared a few weeks back on Stampin' Fancy Friday.  I was inspired by pages 120 and 121 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  I gravitated to the colors on the upper left side of page 121 and all the sparkly touches.  My ink colors included Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, and Starry Sky.  A color combo I will definitely use again.

I was also thinking about the idea of setting a pristine table with a crisp gingham linen and dainty floral designs in tea cups and a teapot as my other inspiration for this card.  The Basic White panel, which in my mind was an overlay linen, was die cut with the Basic Borders Dies and then I ran it through the Stampin' Cut Emboss Machine with the Gingham Embossing Folder.  The last touch for the white panel was to add a petite scalloped edge, also die cut from the Basic Borders Dies.  To complete my table setting idea I added the Tea Boutique 6" x 6" DSP for color, texture as the underlay linen.

For sparkle I used the 2022-2024 6" x 6" In Color Glimmer Paper.  It adds just the right amount of glitz.  It wouldn't be my style to not include and embellishment or two so, I added some of the 2022-2024 In Color Twine and Fun Flowers Resin Shapes.  One last touch was a light splattering of Wink of Stella.
