7 Days of Scrapbooking Day 4: #CARDALBUM

The day is June 4 and it's the 4th day of #sevendaysofscrapbooking. Today I am sharing a memento I created for Father's Day. It's what I call a #cardalbum

What's a cardalbum? It's part card and part mini-album. This cardalbum is designed to look like a buckskin wallet. It holds wallet sized photos and gift cards. It makes a thoughtful little gift. Scroll down to get the full idea.

When you open the wallet/card there is a tab you pull to reveal a hidden message.  I like it because it looks like the car is driving.

I included three small cellophane envelopes that perfectly fit wallet sized photos, 2 3/4" x 3 3/4".  I filled them with simple mini scrapbook pages.

I took this photo of my mom and dad in February of 2020.  We were driving the coast of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.  This was take in Daytona Beach.  The sun felt awesome.  It wasn't too hot nor cold.  The sand was soft through my toes and ocean was cool and refreshing.  This was a great day.

I don't like including too many photos of myself in things.  Since this #cardalbum is a gift for my dad I tucked in this selfie of myself.  What's fun is that my dad is in the reflection of my sunglasses.

If I was going to slip in a picture of me I also had to include my brother Michael.  Just below his photo you can see the pockets for gift cards.
