HSS #266 Wood Textures

Rustic wood, delicate daisies, and touches of crocheted lace fill our inspiration board for Hand Stamped Sentiments latest challenge.  This board is timed just right to highlight several new products from the recently released
Creativity Your Way Annual Catalog.
It was a no brainer to reach for my new Wood Textures DSP, and the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF to get the started on my card.
I think this background paper is so cool when embossed with the Pinewood Planks folder.  It looks just like hardwood flooring.  To continue on creating with the inspiration board in mind I reached for the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle, So Saffron ink, Peekaboo Peach ink, and Whisper White card stock.
To make the shiny dimensional greeting I first cut the Happy Birthday Thinlit from Early Espresso Card Stock.  Then I sat in on top of a Silicon Craft Sheet and coated the entire piece with glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  What I am not good at is waiting not to touch the glue before it's completely dry.  Once totally dry the look and feel is shiny pliable plastic.

  1. Elizabeth, this card is absolutely beautiful! Could you share what product(s) you used to make your Happy Birthday sentiment so thick & shiny? Thank you.

    1. Hi--I used the Happy Birthday Thinlit, new in the SU! Catalog, cut from Early Espresso and then coated with Fine Tip Glue. I will edit my post to reflect your request ;0)

    2. Thank you!! Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful card.

  2. Wonderful! Love this country look and feel!
