Daisy Days for The Stamping Station

Have you seen it? Have you seen the Daisy Days Kit from Stampin' Up!? It's FANFREAKINGTASTIC! The Daisy Days Kit comes with all the scrapbooking essentials you'll need for creating an album, including precut images and sentiments, journaling pieces, and pockets for cherished memorabilia. While I love memory keeping I used some papers and embellishments from the kit to create some quick and summery greeting cards.

For my cards I totally cased page 68 of the May-August Catalog. Here's a look at page 68 and the Mix & Match cards at the bottom of the page. You will see I copied the layouts and the idea of utilizing ephemera greetings, tags, and pieces from the Daisy Days Kit.

 

My first quick card is a case of the VW Bus card. I love the giant blue daisies and the impact the create for this friendship themed card. The bright plaid DSP is one of the pages from the Kit.

I also tucked several of the clear Dewdrop Embellishments for a finishing touch.

And, this last card is a copy of the balloon card. Sometimes it's fun to sit back and leisurely paper craft with simpler products. This was the case for me and oh how I totally enjoyed putting these together.
