The Stamping Station & Simple Joys

Sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones—like a wagging tail, a happy bark when you fill their food bowl, or a boisterous greeting when you come home. Dogs have a way of turning ordinary days into something special, reminding us that joy doesn’t have to be complicated. Today we celebrate "simple joys" in our Stamping Station Insta Hop. My four mini Schnauzers do bring me joy and so does a bit of stamping.

Being a proud dog owner it made sense to add the Cutest Crew Bundle from Stampin' Up! to my library of stamps. There’s something sweet and simple about the Cutest Crew Stamp Set & Dies and sometimes cute things truly add a bit of simple joy to life!

For this friendship card I started with simple repetition stamping. I stamped the row of pups six times on a panel of Basic White. Then on a scrap of Basic White I stamped and colored the row of puppies. I used Stampin' Blends to add touches of color by dotting here and there to get a more textural appearance. When I finished all the coloring I die cut the piece and adhered it over the third row with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Cutest Crew Bundle also features some cute kitties and three little birds. While I don't have a cat nor ever had one, I do like this image of these playful kitties. I colored these with a variety of Stampin' Blends in colors ranging from Petal Pink and Bubble Bath to Peach Pie and Crumb Cake.
