Creation Station's a Party Animal!

We are stampin' like Party Animals this month at Creation Station.  Specifically our challenge was to blend any animal stamp set with a party theme for a "Where the Wild Things Are Party Animals." My spin on this theme includes inking up the From All of Us and the Camouflage Stamp Sets and mixing it with bright colors and a fancy fold.  Speaking of a fold this card is a napkin fold style with an easy to slide off belly band.

Accenting the Poppy Parade and Magenta Madness belly band is a cheerful Whisper White and Mango Melody tag cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I used a small piece of Just Jade trim from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and a bit of Linen Thread.  This band holds together a card is packed with dimension.  There's dry embossing, popped up letters, layers of pattern paper and cardstocks along with loads of back and forth folds.

What's super fun is when the belly band is removed the card springs open to reveal a spunky inside. Look at the funky juxtaposition of cartoon style animals, stripes, florals, and camouflage!  I adore the camo stamp.  It looks fanfreakin'tastic in any color you stamp it.  Seriously, look at how fun the camouflage looks in Magenta Madness.

These cheerful pattern papers all come from the Flowers for Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack.  I pulled colors from the papers to quickly paint up all the animals in this group shot.
For the "party" letters I used the Rainbow Glimmer Paper, the Foam Adhesive Sheets (I can't get enough of these), and the Playful Alphabet Dies.  The popped dimension is AWESOME!

Interested in making a napkin fold card?  Here are my cutting and scoring measurements that I used for this party animal card.  I have totally enjoyed making this style card, I know you will too.

Be sure to stop through all the blogs in the hop to see who's a party animal!  Next up in the hop is Kathy Kartak.  She's a fantastic stamper and a fun stampin' friend.  Have an awesome day.
