#TGIF215 Colors I Love

Three colors I totally gravitate to are Pool Party, Night of Navy, and Granny Apple Green.  Together they are a POWER palette and are our colors for this week's challenge at #TGIF215.

I've made a couple one of a kind backgrounds for this card.  The first one I made by dripping refill inks down a piece of Shimmer White Cardstock with an Aquapainter.  This was fun to watch the drips run as I tipped the paper back and forth to move the ink.

My second background was made using the Arts and Crafts Dies.  In the die set there is a strip of buttons that can be used in some fun ways.  I cut seven button strips from Night of Navy Cardstock and adhered them to my Night of Navy card base.  Before I added my focal pieces I spritzed the tone on tone background with Frost White Paint mixed in rubbing alcohol.

It Starts with Art is a new stamp set that can be purchased as a bundle with the Arts and Crafts Dies.  Both stamps and dies are perfect for those of us who find joy being a part of the world of paper crafting.  I stamped the images with waterproof black ink so I could watercolor with the same inks used to make my striped background.
