Folklorico Dress Inspiration

Welcome to our Monday Montage Blog Hop.  You landed here at my Seeinginkspots Blog from Dani's Thoughtful Corner Blog where she makes the cutest, coolest, and most awesome projects.
A few days ago I was busy stamping and having a great time.  I had just seen some of the BEST Folklorico dancers I had seen and their beautiful lace dresses would not slip my mind.  I was so totally inspired by them that I had to try to recreate them in a stamped way.  These boxes are the result of that crazy and fun stamp day.
The rose images from the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set on each Pillow Box were stamped with Tuxedo Black Stazon Ink and then filled in with Coastal Cabana, Pineapple Punch, and Poppy Parade Inks.  All the specialty cuts were made with the Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies.  My cardstock colors match my inks with the addition of Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

I really REALLY love the addition of the lace ribbon as it was the finishing touch that totally brought my vision of the Folklorico dresses to life.
Get ready now because you are heading for Melissa Stout's Blog.  Enjoy and happy stampin'.
