Summer Sun Fun Colors

A color inspiration challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Did I pass or fail?  Well...

...I had to fake it because I was out of Pool Party Cardstock!  I replaced the soft teal blue color with a piece of Coastal Cabana, but that was not the only switch I included on my card.  I stamped the floral image with Pineapple Punch Classic Ink because my Daffodil Delight was in desperate need of some reinking.  So, one out of three colors isn't so bad.  Here's my point, use similar values of the challenge colors if you don't have the exact listed shade on hand--don't worry, it's a challenge to get the creative juices going and there are no challenge police officers out there.

Here's the breakdown of my card details:
Card base - Smokey Slate with a side fold
Coastal Cabana banner layer with hand cut notch
Whisper White layer embossed with the Subtle TIEF
Leaves and flowers stamped with Tropical Chic Stamp Set
Leaves and flowers cut with the Tropical Thinlits
Greeting from Tropical Chic stamp set with Basic Grey Classic Ink
Embellishments include Pool Party and Silver Bakers Twine and Metallic Pearls

  1. Wow, just wow Elizabeth! I'm in love with the two-tone leaves and those flowers are stunning! I need to do a little more finessing of my stamps this way! You are inspiring!
