Sure Do Love You Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello, welcome, and come on in and visit a while.  Allow me to share with you a crazy cool gift that I hand made for my husband.  First, the back story to why I made what I am calling a Jacob's Ladder Memory Gift Box.  For the New Year we were with my son and daughter-in-law in the Boise Idaho area.  We ventured to a town called McCall to go snowmobiling.  Our day was an adventure packed outing that was such a blast we have planned for another trip there in March!  So, I made this knowing that Newel is going to get a kick out of it.

Using the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set, the Painted With Love Designer Series Paper, and the Lots of Love Box Framelits I created an interactive memory mini box album set.
This set of boxes includes a replaceable belly band that beautifully presents the present ;0)
So, let's take the band off and let the show begin.
I have used a collection of other fabulous Stampin' Up! products to bring the entire mini box album together.  I pulled out the Painted With Love Gold Vinyl Stickers, Gold Glitter Flakes, Gold Embossing Powder, Number of Years Stamp Set, Large Numbers Framelits, Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set, Perfect Days Card Pack, Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon, Powder Pink 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon, along with various inks and card stocks.
There are six boxes in total that are hinged together with ribbons in a Jacob's Ladder fashion.  Both sides of the boxes tell the story of our cold, snow filled day.  The cool thing about this album is it moves just like a Jacob's Ladder toy.
There are six double-sided pages in my mini album; each box holds one page.  The pages are chunky and give weight to the box set which helps the movement of the Jacob's Ladder element.  I based each page on chip board cut from the packaging of specialty dsp.  Then each side is fully covered with card stock edged with Whisper White Ink.  I added photos and cards from the Perfect Days Pack with stamped captions, journaling, and embellishments.
When the cards were too big for my pages I trimmed them to customize a perfect fit and to add a bit of flair.  The "it's the little moments" card below started as a 4" x 6" size.  I sliced it and added stickers for a unique finish to the page.
Here is another shaker element added to another page--I just love it!
It's been lots of fun sharing my mini box album with you.  Thanks for the visit!

I'm sure this is a suite of products you will fall in love with.  This suite is not just for Valentines, but for anytime you want to create a hand made card, gift, or goodie filled with a piece of your own heart and lots of love.  Emma has stamped up something extra special a project filled with lots of love!
