I love LOVE this sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I busted out my paper snips for this sketch challenge to do a bunch of fussy cutting. I don't mind detail cutting with scissors, but what's a huge bummer is I have reached the point in life where it's not going to happen without a pair of magnifying glasses.
After I cut a bunch of trees and critters from the Pick a Pattern DSP I arranged them as a "wild" pack of animals sitting out in nature. I grabbed some retired Emerald Envy ribbon to fit the challenge and then stamped my sentiment from the Pieces of Patterns set in Basic Black.
I stamped the greeting with Basic Black Archival Ink and let it fully dry before I watercolored it. I used Flirty Flamingo and Crushed Curry Inks to add some color to the "wild." I tiny hit of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter is one of those details I just can't help myself from adding. It's subtle but so SO me.
This group of wild life to me looks like they are waiting for something special. Cute aren't they?
What a cute project showcasing these critters Elizabeth! I stopped by your blog to congratulate you again! 💖
