HSS #121

I love, Love, LOVE any combination of yellow, black, and grey.  For the #121 Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge I decided to use Soft Suede as my neutral instead of the Sahara Sand.  These two colors, Soft Seude and Sahara Sand, along with Crumb Cake are interchangeable for me and I use all three of them all the time.  Today I went with the Soft Suede because the Sahara Sand was feeling too anemic.

The design elements for my card are leftover scraps from my stamp table which is why this is a "gumbo" sort of card.  I have used a few pieces from Blossom Builders, Beau Chateau Side Notes, Attic Boutique Side Notes, First Edition and Floral District DSP, Silver Glimmer Paper, with Soft Suede and Basic Black Card Stocks.  To finish the card off I added an Antique Brad and Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon.

Happy craftin, Elizabeth

  2. Absolutely beautiful! That is one gorgeous card for being made from scraps. I agree with Joan, love the texture and layers. I would have never though to add glimmer paper, but it really works on this card:)
