Artisan Award Winners Blog Hop #9

Okay, so here is the nitty gritty on this 3-D artisan entry. This is a copy of the original. All of my original photos were lost and I wanted to share close ups of just how cool this box is, so I made another. It is stinkin' close to the box I submitted for the Artisan Award Contest, but there are a few replacements of designer series paper. I had some leftovers from the Guest Book Simply Scrappin' kit, but not enough to recreate the box exactly as the original. Now you're thinking why would I remake the box? Because I am crazy and I wanted to have another for my parents 50th wedding anniversary as that is why I made it in the first place.

Cake Box recipe:
Guest Book Simply Scrappin’ Kit

Thanks for having a look at today's Artisan wedding box 3-D project. Come back tomorrow for more close ups of my last Artisan entry. Now, it's time to hop over to the one and only Renee Ballard's Stamp Stadium

To start at the beginning of the hop go to Heather Van Duker's Stamptastic blog.

  5. I saw this explosion box in Stampin' Success and searched high and low for more pictures of it! Finally found your site, and I'm so happy. I am making 5 of these (but with Christmas trees in the middle) with holders for gift cards- our church is "gifting" 5 needy families in our community and I wanted a creative way to give the cards. This is perfect! Did you attach the gift cards to the inside of the flaps, or were they just tucked inside? Mine are not nearly as elaborate as yours, but still fun. Thank you for the idea, congrats on the award (you deserve it!) and GREAT job! Love it!
