Creation Station is Rearranging the Rainbow

Welcome friends from near and far to March's Creation Station Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is to "Rearrange the Rainbow" to reimagine it any way we want.  I imagined a flower garden growing in an array of bright colors that are some of my favorite hues.

In my mind I could see a garden growing in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, and Magenta Madness.  For this garden I painted watercolor washes with each of those colors to stamp and die cut stems and blooms from the Honeybee Home Bundle.  Once I had enough pieces die cut I arranged them on a piece of Pattern Party DSP.

At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold, so I thought a bow of Simply Elegant Trim would be a perfect addition.  Before I tied off the bow I slipped on a Basic White Tailor Made Tag.  The "miss you" greeting is from the Honeybee Home Stamp Set.

If you take a close look you'll find the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels tucked here and there among the flowers.  I coordinated the colors with the complimenting color of flower stems.  They add just the right amount of subtle sparkle.

It was fabulous having you stop by today.  Click on the "next up" button and you will land on Yvonne"s Creative Teacup Blog.  She is one AMAZING stamper so don't delay--hop on over.

  2. Absolutely love this card--and the wildflower rainbow of colors. One of my happiest places has always been a wildflower meadow and to make one and turn it into a rainbow meadow is even better
