Christmas time means that I am going to need tags. I make lots and lots of tags because everyone in my family raids my stash. So, I have a fun time making a stack of hand-stamped paper-crafted gift tags.
For our "Anything But a Card" Creation Station December Blog Hop I thought I share some of the tags I've made (this is just a few). I have the Delicate Baubles Dies and I think they make the quickest prettiest tags ever. The photo above shows two of the dies and how pretty they are. The photo below shows how I stamped the backs of the tags with the Merriest Moments and Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Sets.
To the classic green and red colors I added Misty Moonlight. I love the additional depth and coolness the blue gives to the tags. For the middle tag I used the Season's Blessings Stamp Set. The tags to each side include the Merriest Moments Bundle.
My most favorite color combo this season has been Very Vanilla with Sahara Sand, Misty Moonlight, and Soft Succulent with the Be Dazzling Paper (SAB). It's so SO elegant and rich. When you stamp on Sahara Sand Cardstock with Soft Succulent you get a gorgeous grey green tone.
The larger tag is made with Watercolor Paper and was dry embossed and then lightly painted with a Waterpainter and ink. I painted a bit of Soft Succulent ink to the raised leaves and then added a pale wash of Misty Moonlight ink to blend and soften everything.
Are you ready for more paper crafting inspiration? I hope so, next up is the super stamper Kathy Kartak. Thanks for sharing in our latest paper crafting and stamping projects. Have a very Merry Christmas and we will see you in the new year!
All of these tags are great, I particularly like the ones with the blues mixed in.
