Happy New Year! It's so great to welcome 2021!
The Creation Station Design Team is starting this year off with our first hop of the year with a fantastic theme. This month our "How to Design Your Own Stamp Set" theme features any of the million dollar achiever stamp sets. Only 1% of SU! Demonstrators have achieved $1M in sales. When they do they get to help design their own stamp set! How cool is that? This hop was inspired by our fabulous team member Dena Rekow. You can find Dena's $1,000,000 stamp set in the January-June Catalog. It's called Pretty Perennials and it has a matching set of dies called Perennial Petals.
I have decided to feature both the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set and the Perennial Petals Dies in my 2021 desktop calendar. BUT, I have a sad story to tell. As I was creating my calendar I lost 3/4 of the stamps in the set. I have looked EVERYWHERE and cannot find the missing stamps. I am so sad as I had looked forward to this hop for a long time and wanted to showcase Dena's set. You can bet I will be ordering another set!
I kept the layouts quite simple with a few variations here and there. The DSP that I used throughout the entire 12 months is the Playing with Patterns 6" x 6" Pack. I also used the matching Playing with Patterns Enamel Dots and some twines to complete each months layout. Here's a look at several of the months.
Stick around there is lots more hop ahead! Next up is Kathy Kartak and her Faithful INKspirations. Enjoy our How to Be a Millionare Creation Station Blog Hop.
Oh my gosh, I LOVE IT!! BUT HOW did you lose your stamps? I am soooo sorry!! :( THat is THE W.O.R.S.T! As always, fabulous work, Liz!
ReplyDeleteGreat project! You will enjoy it a whole year 😊 really hope you will find the stamps again...
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful project and a great way to highlight Dena's stamp set. I've lost photopolymer stamp sets and looked all over for them, too. I generally find them stuck to the bottom of a tool--trimmer, Stamparatus, or at the bottom or in the middle of a stack of card stock--I'm a messy stamper--pulling lots of things out and moving them around as I work on a project. So, here's hoping you find or have found yours in an unexpected place!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable project. I absolutely love it xx
