#TGIF163 Sketch Challenge

#TGIF163 is hosting a sketch challenge this week and it's a really cool one.  Check it out.
I chose to mix up a piece of Share What You Love DSP with images from the Animal Outing Stamp Set.   I really LOVE how the paper fits the feel of the kangaroo and her koala friend.
For this playful and totally adorable card I watercolored the kangaroo and koala bear with colors to match the DSP.  I used a blended mix of Grapefruit Grove and Granite Grey.  The background is a light wash of Mint Macaron.  To pump up the greeting I added a quick fill of all three colors.  The thin pieces of twine are from the combo pack from the Rooted in Nature Suite.  If you cut a length of twine and spin it between your fingers you can easily split the pieces and pull them apart to have thinner and lighter weight twine to tie.
My very last step before assembling all the layers was to add a bit a sparkle.  To add a dusting of glitter I use cheap hairspray.  I have mentioned this before on my blog, but if this is a first time for you here is how I do it.  Lightly spray with aerosol hairspray, sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (I put mine in a salt shaker), and add another light spritz of hairspray.  I call this the spray sprinkle spray way to add glitter.
