For this month's Creation Station Blog Hop I have put together a small folio of notecards as a hostess gift. The star of the gift is the Pun Intended stamp set which I paired with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets and the Playful Palette DSP Stack.
When I was a kid and I asked what was for dinner my mom would say "f and f." I would ask what that was and she would say "it's fix it and find out." She would create the best dinners without a recipe or plan. She would throw in just a little of this then that and it was tasty. I tell you this because this project was one of those where you start cutting and scoring and clipping and gluing and then things start to come together and I before long I had a wallet/pocket/folio.
A splash of Flirty Flamingo and Peakaboo Peach were watercolored over panels of Shimmer White Card Stock for one of a kind backgrounds. Once the panels were totally dry I stamped the images in Basic Black. Then I cut out the layers using the Tags and Labels Framelits. A few extra details like bakers twine, gold ribbon, and Wink of Stella give each notecard a simple finishing touch.
Enjoy your day and have fun sneaking a peak at some new Stampin' Up! products while hoppin' through our Creation Station Hop. Your next stop is with the fabulous Nicole, or you can click back to be inspired by Holly.
