Hello and welcome to the Artisans’ Award Blog Hop! You have landed here from Andrea Munro’s blog, www.andreamunro.blogspot.com. She has an awesome blog with lots of fun ideas.
In these photos you will see I have used lots of Cherry Cobbler and Baja Breeze for my red and blue. I also used several dies for the Big Shot: the Table Setting XL Bigz die, Perfect Setting XL Bigz die, and the Stars #2 Bigz die. The largest tag on the die is what I used to cut my horizontal panel under the flag on my card. The smaller tag was the perfect shape and size for my mini America banner and cupcakes. As for the chunky silver glitter, my favorite method to adhere it to letters or shapes is to use Sticky Pages. It easily cuts on the Big Shot with any of the Bigz dies. The last two details that bring my projects to life are a quick run through the Dots Impressions folder and two coats of Smooch Spritz. First with silver and the second with white.
BLOG CANDY ALERT!!! So, are you wondering where the “God Bless America” stamp image comes from? It is a retired Stampin' Up! image of which I can't let go. If you think you know leave a comment with your answer. From those who leave a comment with the correct answer I will pick a winner for a shiny new blog candy prize package! That’s right I am giving away a stamp girls best friend--Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and a pack of Rhinestones, the ones from the new Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog. A winner will be randomly selected by July 3rd.
Thanks for having a look at my Red, White, and Blue projects. Now, get ready to hop over to Jodie Olver’s blog, http://stampwithjodie.typepad.com To start at the beginning of the hop go to Heather Van Duker’s blog at http://StamptasticCreations.blogspot.com.

ReplyDeleteGreat projects. TFS
ReplyDeleteLove all your projects, since I am not a SU demo I have no clue the of the stamp set, but I love it and wouldn't part with it either. Happy 4TH. Thanks for sharing your artwork.
ReplyDeleteCan I come? I am a sucker for the little details at a party. It all looks so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI always love your stuff, Liz! I cheated and came to your blog first :) ~Tanya
ReplyDeleteBlog hopping! I love the banner, and the God Bless America set too!
ReplyDeleteHurrah! I'm the first to guess your stamp set title! Could it be from that wonderful retired stamp set that I also love called Land That I Love? It's a great stamp set! Love your creativity, Elizabeth! Thanks for the chance to guess (...and for the big hint, too...but I knew the answer without the hint)!
ReplyDeleteI love your attention to detail!! And I love your style too! ;) I actually found your blog and marked it down before we ever met as Artisan Friends-amazing work darlin-Ang
ReplyDeleteLiz awesome job! The stamp God Bless America is an individual retired stamp that SU! used as a fund raising stamp. Really provided a need and a country coming together!
ReplyDeleteI love that you used the new DSP!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your projects, especially the banner! I'm guessing that the stamp sentiment comes from the "God Bless America" single stamp?
ReplyDeleteI love your projects and inspiration. I just bought a big shot so I love everything that you used...the stamp was a limited edition commemorative stamp. Very cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! These projects are awesome! Love the Baja color with the patriotic theme!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your banner and your tabletop display! My guess is that the stamp is "God Bless America" that was sold after 9/11.
ReplyDeleteThe banner is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteThe stamp is God Bless America, 2001 Special Edition.
Lori
This is awesome, Liz! But, I wouldn't expect anything less than awesome from you (no pressure or anything!). And, I do remember the God Bless America stamp from 9-11!
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing projects! I agree with Renee, I want to be invited to your party! I really like how you used the texture plates on the baskets:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic array of projects and I too love the God Bless America Stamp. SU had a real winner with that special themed single stamp - so very appropriate and I'd love to see them come out with something similar. I see people begging for this one online all the time. Thanks for sharing the loot and showing us your Artisan Inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLand that I love? Just guessing! Love your work, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI can just feel the fun in your projects! And the glitter!, Great! Always like to take a peek.
ReplyDeleteI love your projects! I love the God Bless America stamp too, so much so that I had to go find mine. This little wonder was offered as a fund raiser after the attacks on America on Sept.11, 2001. I bought mine at a MOPS event because I thought it would be good to support the cause. It was one of my first introductions to Stampin' Up. Thanks for offering the great prize. May you and yours have a wonderful holiday weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour projects are beautiful, and congratulations on artisan!!! The stamp set is an individual stamp called "God Bless America" and it came out in 2001 for rememberance of the 9/11 tragedies in the USA. Great work!!!
ReplyDeleteShannon
I couldn't get rid of mine, either. The special edition God Bless America remembrance stamp will always hold a special spot on my stamp collection shelf. Right in the front!
ReplyDeleteLove the color combo for red, white and blue! Such creative projects--I know why you are an Artisan Winner! =-)
ReplyDeleteOops...forgot to say the stamp was a stand alone stamp from 2001--God Bless America. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteVery colorful. Love the God Bless America stamp set banner. It's from a retired single stamp set.
ReplyDeleteLove your projects!! I too have that old stamp and can't let it go either!
ReplyDeleteWOW! what great projects! Congrats on the Artisan Award!
