#TGIF487 Full of Life Friend

You know what's cool about this card? The Tune In stamps and dies that's what is cool!! I find this bundle to be so charming and different. You see I have lots of flowers, leaves, animals, but this is the only television themed stamp set that I have or have ever had. I do think this bundle pairs fabulously with the
Full of Life DSP which just happens to be our challenge for this week at #TGIF487.

Wildflower Designs

Happy Monday Montage! The time has come for another hop. For this hop I thought I would share a card that I think in real life is stunning. I truly love the Wildly Flowering Suite Collection! It's filled with beautiful stamps, dies, and paper that is out of this world gorgeous. My thank you card was created using products from the Suite.

Wild Wheat, it's an In Color that you either love or could do without. Me I LOVE IT! It's a brilliant color. It's everywhere in nature and home fashion. It's also a gorgeous gold without being metallic. Speaking of metallic I used the gold Metallic Enamel Effects to paint the background of the card base. It truly sets the tone for this beauty.

Here's a look at the inside of the card. A bit of stamping always brings a bit of beauty to the inside don't you think?

Thanks for joining along in our hop today. Next up is Emily. Let's click on over and see what fun stamping she has been up to.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop "Painted Petals"

Welcome to my Blog and to another A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop. This month's all about the Painted Petals Paper Pumpkin Kit. I do believe this ranks in the top three of best kits for Paper Pumpkin. It's a true beauty!

This first alternative card I am sharing is an easy fun fold. It started with an 11" x 5 1/2" Petal Pink card base. Then on the long edge I scored at 2 3/8", 6 1/4", and 9". Next I added layers from one of the Kit's card bases and a bit of Meandering Meadows DSP.

I did add a large Basic White die cut circle. I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut the circle. To add a bit of interest I used a Blending Brush to swirl on Petal Pink ink to add a soft "haze" of color behind the flowers.

This next card includes more of the Meandering Meadows DSP. I love how the Mossy Meadow looks with the Melon Mambo florals and the punch of Granny Apple green from the additional DSP.

For this card I used a couple pieces from the Saying Something Ephemera pack. I love the graphic vibe of the hip hip hooray ephemera and how it relates back to the Meandering Meadows DSP.

If you're interested in creating these cards, and more, click on the link to see my Up!STYLE Your Paper Pumpkin video from yesterday.

Keep on clicking the "next up" button to see more alternative projects featuring the Painted Petals Paper Pumpkin Kit. I'll catch you all next month for the Time for Cake Kit.

Ephemera for #TGIF485

#TGIF485 is a sketch challenge which is always a favorite for me. I brought this sketch to life with the mix and match products from the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.

I started my spin on this layout with one of the cards and envelopes from the Calming Creek pack and then layered a few pieces of Country Lace DSP to mimic the sketch. To base my focal elements I first added a circle from the Labels and Layers Ephemera pack. Next, I used pieces from the Something for Everything Ephemera pack to create a fun focal point and then used greetings from the Saying Something Ephemera pack.

To finish it all up I added a Balmy Blue Baker's Twine bow, clear Opal Rounds, and then a bit of Wink of Stella to add sparkle to the cake and the 'beautiful."

Mediterranean Blooms

Have you stamped with the Mediterranean Blooms Suite Collection? Each element of the Suite is outstanding and beautiful. You can’t help but create gorgeous projects.

The oranges were die cut from the Mediterranean Blooms DSP. They make a perfect focal point.

Here’s a closer look at the details. There’s a bit of texture from the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, a loopy bow of Linen Thread, and navy Opal Rounds.

Julie is up next in our hop. Let’s go see what she has been stamping lately. I bet it’s awesome.

Ephemera to Mix and Match

Welcome to our Creation Station Blog Hop for August!

This month we are showcasing the mix and match products from the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog. I used just about every product from the line for my two cards.

I used the Sunny Springs Cards and Envelopes, the Labels and Layers Ephemera, the Fully Flowering Ephemera, the Something for Everything Ephemera, and the Saying Something Ephemera pack.

For this birthday card I added a die cut Citrus Blooms label which I embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D EF. I added the label layer to  “tone down” the pattern of the Sunny Springs card base. For both cards I added the Ribbon Backed Gems and Wink of Stella.

I hope you have enjoyed checking out my mix and match cards. Next up is Yvonne over at the Creative Tea Cup. Let’s go see what she has made. She always makes amazing cards and I’m sure she has created something inspiring.
