Hearts and Hugs for Monday Montage

Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I'm thrilled to have you visiting here. Today I am sharing an easy easy fun fold featuring the Hearts and Hugs Bundle.

The name of this fun fold is Side Latch. It's super simple. Start with an 81/2" x 5 1/2" card base and score at 4 1/4" along the long edge. Use a Bone Folder to fold and burnish on the 4 1/4" score line. To finish creating the fun fold cut 1" off the front right side of the card and score 1" on the back right side of the card. Use a Bone Folder to fold and burnish the 1" scoreline backward.

To create the latch decorate a circle or any shape then attach to the left side of the of the section that folds back.

Next up in our latest Monday Montage Blog Hop is Emily. Click on the "next" button to see what she has to share with us.

Artisan Post #10: Tune In

For our June Artisan assignment our Group was asked to create projects featuring the Tune In Bundle from #stampinupofficial

I enjoyed using a spunky palette of colors including Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash, and a few supporting colors which are Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, and Pumpkin Pie. To bring these colors to life I used the Full of Life DSP and the '24-'26 In Color Glimmer Paper.

#TGIF477 Sketch Challenge Meets Ephemera!

Check out the sketch in the graphic below. Do you see how wide open it is for interpretation? For this #TGIF477 I used three of the new packs of ephemera found in the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.

I started with one of the Calming Creek Mix and Match Cards and Envelopes and then added a layer of embossed Pool Party cardstock. I dry embossed the Pool Party with the Dashing Designs 3D Folder. I should say that that folder is super cool.

Now for all of the bits and pieces that I used to create the scene on the front of my card. I used three of the ephemera packs. I used the Something For Everything Mix and Match pack, the Labels and Layers Mix and Match pack, and for the greetings the Saying Something Mix and Match pack.

Last, to complete the card I splattered with a Bronze Stampin' Blend, included some Linen Thread, and then finished with three of the Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop: The Best There

Here we are--gathering together for a bit of Paper Pumpkin inspiration. May's Kit is pretty amazing, geared for men, and coordinates with the Country Woods DSP.

Today I'm sharing three alternative cards that I made. My first card features elements from the Kit and a piece of Linen Thread. My second card is clean and simple and highlights the Thanks and Beyond Dies. And, for my third card I incorporated the Country Woods DSP and the Country Birdhouse Dies.

For this bold and simple "thanks" card I included cardstocks in the colors of the Kit and they are Wild Wheat, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, and Misty Moonlight. I also used some of the Tungsten paper from the Textured Metallic 12" x 12" which I think is the perfect addition to the colors and style of this Kit.

The embellishments that I've used on this card and the next are called Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls.

I wanted to take and flip this Kit to being a bit more feminine so I used the Country Birdhouse Dies and pieces of the Country Woods DSP.

Thanks for hanging out at my Blog for a few minutes to take a look at a few of the alternatives I made using the The Best There Is Paper Pumpkin Kit. Be sure to click through all of the hoppers for lots more inspiration.
