What would you stamp and create if the theme were beach party? I would use bright and bold colors, prints, and details. And that's what I did. The oversized floral print seemed to fit the idea of a beach party so I went from there and crafted a fun fold card using the Delightfully Eclectic DSP and the Paper Florist Dies for #TGIF427.

My Beach View in Cambria
Welcome to another inspiration challenge hosted by Hand Stamped Sentiments. You can tell from my Boho Beach Kit Card I was inspired by the starfish beach scene in the upper left corner of the inspo board.
These past few days I have been hanging out with some good stampin' friends at a gorgeous beach house in Cambria California. The photo shown below was taken from the back patio deck of my friend's house.
For my card I did just a bit of rearranging of elements from the Boho Beach Kit Collection.
The only thing I added that was not from the kit was the "celebrate" which I die cut from the Wanted To Say set of dies. Other than that it's all from the Kit.

Sweet Citrus Fun Fold
Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop. I thought I would show you fun fold card I made that features the Sweet Citrus Bundle.
My colors are a bit more "lime" like for this card. I used Garden Green, Pool Party, and Blushing Bride Ink Pads. Each color was stamped in full, half, and quarter strength, What really pulls this fun fold card together are the pieces of Enjoy the Journey DSP.
Thanks for passing by my blog for our Monday Montage Blog Hop. You have two choices now to work back or next along the hop. Have fun and happy stampin'.

#TGIF425 Beach Weather
It's time for another challenge over at #TGIF425. Our latest challenge is to create a card that flips or flops. But, that is not what I did. I thought the challenge was to be inspired by the quote "life is better in flip flops." So, I was thinking summer and beach weather.
For this bright and breezy beach card I used the Waterfront Stamp Set and some beautiful ocean hues. My colors include Crumb Cake, Wild Wheat, Tahitian Tide, Balmy Blue, and Early Espresso. I really love the Wild Wheat Deckled Rectangle Die cut which I layered behind the Basic White stamped piece. I think the pop of mustardy yellow brown, the Wild Wheat, looks great against the Crumb Cake card base.

Just Swinging By
Look how sweet and spunky the Little Monkey Stamp Set is. I think this "just swinging by" card is playful and makes for a fun way to reach out to a friend. I created this using the sketch challenge below for Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I decided to color the stamped images with Stampin' Blends. For the monkeys I used SU100, SU200, and Light and Dark Petal Pink. For the tree branches and leaves I used Pebble Path, Lemon Lime Twist, and Lost Lagoon.

Artisan Post #8 So Refreshing
Okay here's the truth. When I first saw this Bundle I was totally underwhelmed. I couldn't wrap my creative mind around the stamps and dies. And then it happened. I started to create and fell in love. Yes, that's right I truly have fallen for the So Refreshing Bundle.
A bit of patterned paper from the Delightfully Eclectic pack of DSP was the inspiration for this slimline top fold card. I've combined Bubble Bath with Petal Pink for a perfect pink lemonade feel.
I totally love the colors and style of the patterned paper on this "happiest birthday" card. Like the first card I used two tones of cardstock. I used Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy which, to me, lends to a subtle and soothing appearance.
Speaking of subtle, I very lightly added a Bubble Bath haze of color behind the juice pitcher. Another subtle detail is the tiny tag suspended from the knot of the Starry Sky In Color Baker's Twine.

It's Monday Montage Time!
It's Monday Montage time again and I thought I would show you another card where I used the Legendary Ride Bundle, the Cheerful Daisies Dies, and the Fresh as a Daisy DSP.
I had some fun creating the motorcycle. First I inked up the entire image with a Crushed Curry Ink Pad and then I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color the tires, seat, and a few other parts. On top of all of that I added silver details. It looks so cool in real life.
Here's a look at the inside.
