This four-day stamp camp includes a pre-party game night and three days of stamp sessions.  This will be an online intensive workshop where we will fully explore the He's the Man Suite Collection in the 2022-2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

On the Horizon Suite

For this Monday Montage Blog Hop I have some awesome cards to share.  All three are made with the MOST AMAZING BUNDLE EVER BY STAMPIN' UP! -- the On the Horizon Bundle.

Each card is jam packed with details, a hidden pocket, and includes the MOST AMAZING DSP EVER BY STAMPIN' UP! -- the New Horizons 6" x 6" DSP.

This first card started with stampin' a piece of the New Horizon DSP and then I embossed it with the Tasteful Textures EF.  Next I layered in a bunch of the Horizon die cuts which were painted, stamped while wet, and crinkled for added visual depth and actual dimension.

I love the Pebbles Enamel Shapes and how they create a stone path into the scenery.  The inside of the card has just a bit of added decor to match the front.

This trifold style card using the entire piece of DSP.  First I cut off a 1/2" across the top of the paper, then I cut a 4 1/4" piece for the card front, and then used the remaining 1 3/4" strip for the second panel which is revealed when you open the front of the card.

Here's a look at that second piece of DSP and the pocket.

The 1/2" that I cut off the top was used to edge the inside of right flap of the card.  I love it when you can use 99% of a sheet of DSP.

This last card is what I call a "double accordion" fold style.  Because of all the folds and thicknesses I tied the whole thing closed with a ribbon.

When you untie the ribbon you get a better look of all the die cuts included on the front of this card.

Waves of Inspiration

It seems to make complete sense to me to use the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set and Waves Dies when creating with colors named Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Pacific Point.  This oceanic color palette is the latest challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

The top card is a simpler version of the bottom card.  Both are made with a mix of the challenge colors and a bit of Granny Apple Green.  I used a Stamparatus to gradually add ink to the large wave image to get just the look I was going for.  I stamped the wave directly on the card base of the simpler version.  For the stepped up card I stamped the wave on a separate piece of cardstock and fussy cut it out.  Atop both of the waves I added the Blue Foil wave die cuts.

Casing the Great Mikaela

This month's theme for Stampin' Fancy Friday is to "Case a Fancy Friend."  I chose to case the wonderful, sweet, and most talented Mikaela Titheridge from the Crafty Oinkpen.  I truly enjoy learning from Mikaela's stamp style and admire how fabulous her photos are of her projects.

The cards in the photo below, made by Mikaela, are the specific works of heart that I chose to CASE for this challenge.  I was captivated by the card on the right.  I noticed that she so skillfully highlighted a gorgeous piece of designer series paper.  I kept returning to her post to look at the card again and again.  After that it became obvious that this was the project that I should case.

Below are my cards which I made that were completely inspired by Mikaela's, even my main photograph was cased.  She highlighted the Fortune of Crane DSP, where as I focused on the On the Horizon DSP and a Petal Pink, Cinnamon Cider, and Rich Razzleberry color palette.

Beyond the Horizon: A Paper Pumpkin Thing

Have you seen March's Beyond the Horizon Paper Pumpkin Kit?  Every element packaged in the kit is awesome.  From the printed card bases and envelopes to the laser cut mountains, leaves, and labels, two stamp sets, to the spool of ribbon and the glorious iridescent rhinestones this kit ROCKS!

I've created a super stack of cards using the contents of the kit, the On the Horizon Bundle, and a few extra pieces of cardstock.  I'm going to share three cards from that stack for today's "A Paper Pumpkin Thing" Blog Hop.

This first card is a BEAUTY.  It seriously is stunning in real life.  I started with half a sheet of Calypso Coral Cardstock cut into a diagonal fold.  To do that I first score a full sheet of cardstock in half both vertically and horizontally.  Then I cut from the top left corner to bottom right corner.  One full sheet makes two cards.

I used one of the envelopes for my background paper.  Take a closer look at the background paper to see the stampin' that I added for some added visual interest and depth.  For the focal images I stamped the two-step floral images on Basic White with Pale Papaya and Bumblebee and then fussy cut them out.  The leaves are Misty Moonlight stamped off.

In this photo you get a better look at the diagonal cut and how it opens.

On a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White I did some simple stampin' with Pale Papaya and Misty Moonlight Ink Pads.

My second card is quite similar to my first card.  This card base is Night of Navy 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 2" and 7 1/2".  Again I used and envelope as designer paper, I stamped it, and then added flowers.

Here you get a better look at the "gate" folds.  

The clean and simple approach to my third card made for a pretty quick finish.  Everything is from the kit with the exception of a die cut that I added behind the circle/sun and the water piece.  I also used Versamark Ink and White Embossing Powder.

TGIF363 Sketch Challenge

Being that it's Friday it's time for a card making challenge over at #TGIF363.  For this week we are using a sketch for our inspiration/challenge.  I really think this is a cool sketch that lends to all kinds of cards and styles.   Since the trees in my neighborhood are finally popping with blossoms I went for a super spring themed look for my spin on the sketch.

I made this card using the additional stamp set that was so generously included in March's Beyond the Horizon Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The large floral image is a two-step style and super easy to align.  I stamped the first step with Fresh Freesia on Basic White.  Then I stamped the more detailed second step with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.  Last, I stamped the second detailed image again right over the heat embossed image with Polished Pink Ink.

All the leaves were stamped with Coastal Cabana.  Some are stamped full strength and some a lightly stamped off.  I like how this gives a variety of colors/levels/shades.  Both the "hello" and "a little note" are from the Beyond the Horizon PP Kit.  Lately the images in the Paper Pumpkin Kits are super great. 

I mixed different packs of paper for this card.  I used a piece of Fresh Freesia gingham from the Pansy Petals DSP and a piece of Coastal Cabana from the Brights 6" x 6" DSP (retired) pack.  Look close and you'll see a sliver of In Color Shimmer Velum.  It's a small touch, but I like it.  To finish I tied a Linen Thread bow through the tag and splattered Wink of Stella.
