In the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog there is an awesome bundle, a stamp set and matching dies, called All Things Fabulous. The bundle's two-step stamp set is filled with florals, berries, leaves, and complementing greetings.
This mini suite of cards share the same color palette, stamp set, and dies. My focal tools for these cards are the All Things Fabulous Stamp Set and the Fabulous Floral Dies. My color palette is Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, and Coastal Cabana. To create all the gorgeous spritzed details I had Mini Misters filled with rubbing alcohol, 70%, and drops of ink refills in my color palette.
Using the diamond shaped doily die I made a custom stencil. I cut four doilies and glued them together. Next, I placed the stencil on a panel of Whisper White and then had fun spritzing away.
For the flowers I used Rich Razzleberry stamped off and full strength and Blackberry Bliss. The berries are Misty Moonlight and the leaves are Coastal Cabana.
It's possible to lengthen your dies. The diamond shaped doily die used to cut the background on the card below was shorter. With a two passes through a die cutting machine and carefully placed plates I made the shapes longer to fit a vertical placement.
I also made the banner greeting longer to custom fit the greeting. I love being smarter than my dies! In all seriousness, I love making my paper crafting tools work beyond their original design/intent.
Another subtle detail on this card is the "dirty stampin'." To create the mottled effect on the florals I stamped off on a used very messy piece of scratch paper. When stamping off, the image picked up ink from past stamped off images and thus transferred random swaths of color. Thus creating a unique and organic appearance.
Colors for these flowers are stamped off and "dirty" Coastal Cabana, barely stamped off Coastal Cabana, and full strength Coastal Cabana. For the leaves and berries I stamped off Misty Moonlight and Rich Razzleberry.
I made my own background paper to peek through the die cut sentiment on the card below. After stamping the flowers, leaves, and berries I did a light spritzing of Coastal Cabana ink and then a heavier splatter of Misty Moonlight ink.
This card base was spritzed with lots of layers of ink over a custom stencil. I used the same stencil from the first card I shared in this post. I simply rotated the die for a completely new look.
If you would like I have a video on my Seeinginkspots Facebook Group Page of the class where these cards were made. You can work along with me or fast forward. Here's a link.

These are fabulous! I just got this set and am experimenting with it too! I love the idea that you created a stencil with the doily die! TFS!
