Beautiful Laser Cut Card

Hello stampin' friends.  It's good to have you join us for our Monday Montage Blog Hop.  You may have just visited with Charlet Mallett or started the hop here.  Charlet has such a unique and artistic talent that always blows my mind.

One new item in the Catalog that caught my eye is the tin of Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards and Envelopes.  Detailed with precision and beauty these cards can be crafted into something gorgeously special.  I decided to decorate this card with pieces cut from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  I arranged the blossoms among the birds, attached them with Mini Dimensionals, and painted them with Wink of Stella.  A few scattered sequins added just the sparkle I wanted and a bow of Linen Thread tied it all together.

Tucked behind the laser cut card front is a panel of Coastal Cabana Cardstock.  To give the cardstock more interest and appeal I did some random stamping all over with the background image from the You're A Classic Stamp Set.  I see the image as being an oil slick which is perfect for the theme of the classic car set.  This stamp is ultra versatile and can be utilized for lots of stamp projects.  I love how this bit of stamping adds a mottled effect.

As always I have to give a big thank you for stopping by and hopping along with our Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Your next stop is with the totally adorable Melissa Stout.  Let's go check out what the Stamp Doc has to share.
