Bird is the Word Creation Station Blog Hop

For our Bird is the Word Creation Station Blog Hop I busted open my Flying Home Stamp Set and Stampin' Blends.  For both cards I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and embossed with the new Basket Weave Dynamic folder.
This first card is filled with a hodgepodge of leftovers.  I have a pint sized Mason jar in my stamp cabinet that I toss in bits and pieces that don't get used at the time I cut them.  It's nice to have because when a card needs a little something, I grab the jar and pick through all the bits to find a perfect needed touch to make a card awesome.  The leftovers on this card include the heart, cut leaves, banner, and gold threads.  In fact they were all assembled together and I just set it on and went "oh, I like that it's a keeper!"
I like the bit of texture that the Window Box Framelit adds to the first card.  I have it peeking from behind the circle layers and behind that is a scrap of Pool Party Cardstock.  I should mention that I cut the details before I embossed.
This card is SO totally adorable in real life.  I know we say that all the time, but this is seriously a cute card.  The birdhouses are fussy cut and layered with dimensional and stacked dimensionals for some extra visual panache.
Guess what?  You next visit will be with my friend Linda van Wely.  She is a one creative stamper so get ready for some crafting awesomeness.
