Creation Station's Perfect Packaging Blog Hop

Welcome, welcome, welcome!
It's the first Sunday of the month and it's time for our Creation Station Blog Hop.  With today's hop theme we hope to inspire you with "perfect packaging" concepts to get you whipping up fabulous boxes, bags, tags, or anything to present a present.
The Acetate Card Boxes are just right for packaging a set of gorgeous hand stamped cards,
but they also are the perfect little something to create cool stuff.
Cool stuff item #1 doubles as a mega sized gift tag and an ornament.  This dimensional clear box style tag is sized for a large wrapped box or bag.  When giving a gift dressed up with a tag like this it's like giving two gifts in one; the tag becomes a collectible ornament which can hang on any tree.
For the tag I stamped the Merry Little Labels "let is snow" image on Basic Black Card Stock with Whisper White Ink.  My favorite touch is the glittered edge.  I use a Two Way Glue Pen (retired) to adhere the Silver Glitter.  I made a red and a copper version of the tag/ornament.  The Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack and the black and white 7/8" Striped Ribbon make up the bulk of the bow on top.
On Thick Whisper White card stock I built up lots of layers to create a diorama scene to fit inside an Acetate Card Box complete with faux bits of snow.  I found the Foam Strips worked best for this project to give lots of depth and some added sturdiness.
Cool stuff item #2 is totally awesome and a spin off on a six-pack carrier.
For this gift carrier I cut an Acetate Card Box in half which I sandwiched together with some Merry Music Specialty DSP.  The measurement for the DSP is 4 3/8" x 12".  I folded it in half and tucked a piece of 4 3/8" x 6" piece of Basic Black Card Stock inside to make the handle bulkier/stronger.  Next I cut the night sky with the Card Front Builders Thinlits and then the opening with the Oval Layering Framelits.  To finish the construction I used Tear and Tape to adhere everything.
The Quilted Christmas 1/4" Ribbon and Mini Tinsel Trim bow is accented with Green Sprigs and Stitched Felt Embellishments.
It has been my pleasure to have you here at my blog--thanks for visiting.
Your next stop is with the adorable Kathy Kartak, she will blow you away.
