It's a sweet and simple card made in just a few quick minutes having been inspired by the latest challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. The first thing that came to mind was Crumb Cake and Whisper White colors combined with just a touch of Real Red. So, I grabbed some of the new Shine On Specialty DSP and embossed a greeting from the new Suite Sayings stamp set. A few fast finishing touches and I was done. Sometimes it's just fun to be done. Not that I didn't want to stamp, but it was great to finish without feeling like I forced, tweeked, and reworked the card to death.

Hello Sneak Peak
Comin' real soon to stampers everywhere...Sale-a-Bration! Yeah it's such a fun time to get free stamps and accessories and guess what? The sale of the year starts January 5th and runs 'til March 31st. New to this year's sale are limited time stamps and DSP. The Hello stamp set and the Perfectly Artistic DSP shown as a sneak peak in today's post is only available for the first half of SAB until February 15th. So, get them while you can because both are totally AWESOME.
I have used these new stamps and DSP to come up with something fun for the latest sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I love the combination of the gold embossed images with the washi tape and twine. This Hello is definitely a stamp set that will see a lot of ink. Be sure to check back later as I will share more ideas using this set and don't forget to see all the projects created by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Design Team. Join along and make your own take on the sketch. We welcome everyone--see you soon.

Making Spirits Bright...
...what fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight! Oh, Monday Mon-tage blog hop, Monday Montage Hop (yes super dorky I know, but I turn everything into a song). You have arrived from Dani's blog where she has shared some stampin' creativity--a big shout out to her to say "'thank you."
For our 58th blog hop I am sharing a couple quick projects featuring the Among the Branches stamp set and the Home for Christmas DSP.

White, Black, Silver, and Gold
I love hoppin' with all these amazing stampers. Each stop along the hop is full of extreme awesomeness. This month we are sharing Christmas creations that include the Wintertime Vellum. For this season you should have one of those 6" x 6" vellum stacks on hand. The color combo is everywhere this year--white, gold, silver, and black.
My Merry Christmas card includes lots of lush yumminess. I layered a piece of Corrugated White Cardstock on a Whisper White card base. The next layer that adds such a sweet pop of style and interest is a piece of the Wintertime Vellum. I think my favorite detail on the card is the wood snowflakes. Notice the one on the left how it's smaller? Just give one of the wooden Snowflake Elements a trim with your Craft and Rubber Scissors.
A 3.25" x 6" piece of Wintertime Vellum is perfect to decorate a Petite Cafe Bag. With the extra make a chunky accordion fold bow embellished with lots of scraps of ribbon. Just fold back and forth every half inch, staple it in the center, and then flair out the sides to form a bow shape.
This last picture is a closer look at the folded vellum under all the pretty ribbons.

Tale of Two Tags
The tale of two tags is all about speed. Speed? Yes, in this season time flies by and we seem to need every moment to get our list of things to do completed. So, for these tags I took a piece of Whisper White, Very Vanilla, and Wintertime DSP, stacked one on top of another, and then cut them all at once in my Big Shot using the Lots of Labels Framelits. Cutting all three is a time saver, not a huge amount, but it counts. Then to save even more time I designed a tag and then copied myself. I call that "one design two times."
The first tag I created was the one with the green tree. I started by cutting the Wintertime DSP Lots of Labels tags into thirds. I layered the pine bough side onto the Whisper White Lots of Labels tag. From there I added the strip of Red Glimmer, a Cucumber Crush tree stamped with the Peaceful Pines set, a Real Red greeting, and then a bit of ribbon to finish it off.
For this tag I copied the first, but I flipped the DSP over to use the gold pattern side. A quick strip of washi tape and I was on my way to a second completed tag. Again I added a Peaceful Pines tree and used a greeting from the set to give it some panache all stamped with Hello Honey ink.

Hand Stamped Glitzy Sentiments
Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments it's color combo challenge time and I forgot the black! I didn't really forget it just wasn't workin' for me for this pretty little project. This medallion doubles as a gift tag topper and an ornament.
I used the Wintertime Vellum for the medallion which I topped with a Tea Lace Doily. My next two layers include a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper pine tree and a gold embossed Snowflake Element. The "tis the season" image, from Peaceful Pines, is also gold embossed and then dusted with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Using Every Stamp in the Set!
It's a holiday weekend and Monday Montage time--how fun is that? Welcome one and all and my wish is that if you celebrated Thanksgiving, your day was full of gratitude and tasty food.
For these two cards I am sharing today, especially the second, I had this goal to try and use every single stamp in the set. I did it! With colors reminiscent of Shiny Bright Christmas glass ornaments I stamped a background that's fun and a skosh funky.
