Enjoying the Envelope Punch Board

Welcome to our Monday Montage Blog Hop!  I am quickly going to mention that I made this adorable card with the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD.  I will give specifics tomorrow.  But I also included my very favorite new Designer Series Paper Lullaby.  When I saw the papers in the new catalog I was drooling over them.  And, then they were in the pre-sale list of items demonstrators could buy and I was doin' a very happy dance.  I love the added Gold Sequins and the Coast Cabana Thick Bakers Twine.

Endless Wishes, A Great New Stamp Set

It's that time again for another challenge with Hand Stamped Sentiments and this one is a sketch challenge you're going to love.  I think this is a fun layout that can work in so many cool ways.  I decided to take the liberty to turn my card to a vertical layout.  At first I had planned to have the card be a top fold landscape style; as I was moving things around I couldn't get things to jive for me so, I turned the card base to a portrait style and it instantly fell into place.
I love this new photopolymer stamp set that was just released from Stampin' Up!  It's called Endless Wishes and it's FABULOUS.  I just love the hand drawn greetings mixed with the type written phrases and how many words come in the set.  You can make lots and lots of customized cards for birthdays, best wishes, congratulations, and lots more.  If you look close at the "birthday" on my card you might notice the shadow stampin'.  I first stamped the word with Soft Sky ink and then with Jet Black Staz On.  Because the stamps are clear it's a piece of cake to align the shadow just the way you like it.

Pop 'n Cuts for Monday Montage

Happy Mothers Day to everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  I am happy to share a fun pop up card that we made in class this past week.  I felt a need to take my Card Base Pop 'n Cuts out of the packaging and use it before it retires.  I wanted to share a the cool die with my stampin' friends.  We made a springy card featuring the Label Pop 'n Cuts and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.
I used So Saffron card stock and the Chevron TIEF for the outside card base and the inside is Sahara Sand.  The strips of Gingham Garden Washi Tape are my favorite part of card.  Maybe it's because it is so fast and so easy and adds such a huge impact.
For the inside pop up I used the Label Pop 'n Cuts insert which fits easily inside the Card Base.  The insert Die makes all the cuts and the scores for perfect pop up action.  A layer of DSP was cut with the Deco Label Framelits for another perfectly coordinated element for the card.
Enjoy this fabulous Mother's Day and our hop.  Your next stop is with Julie Warnick--I know you will love what she has to share with us all.  Smiles, Elizabeth

Retro Fresh Colors

It's time for a "Retro Fresh" color palette challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Are you ready to join along?  I grabbed some Retro Fresh Washi Tape to meet the Baked Brown Sugar-Tangerine Tango-Coastal Cabana color challenge.  I also took some liberties to add a splash of gold to the challenge.  It was callin' out to me so I went for it.  Hopefully the challenge police won't bust me.
