From a Friend

This sweet gift can from my friend Julie was filled with these awesome chocolates. The focal image on the can is from the Vintage Vogue stamp set. You can find that set in the Occasions Mini Catalog. The dsp and the felt flower are also from the mini caty. All of the accessories in that caty are so perfect for creating projects perfect for the season.

"Lifesavers, A Part of Living"

Does anybody remember that commercial for Lifesavers? I thought of that when I saw this card. Mary C. from our amazing swap group made this card and I think it is BRILLIANT!!! I absolutely love the use of the jumbo brad. She is too clever.

"Love Hangover"

This project is another great case from Shannon West. She shared this album at Leadership. The journaling includes the lyrics from Sweetest Love Hangover by Diana Ross. I added a few elements to the album. I used the Join the Cheer and Naturally Serif Sizzix strip dies and lots of Crystal Effects. You'll see that the hearts have been covered in multiple layers of Crystal Effects to give them an epoxy look.

A sweet blend of coral and gray for a Valentine is perfect for a good friend. Thanks to my friend Julie B. for making and giving me this card.

Candy Box

Is this just the most awesome hand made candy box? I was very inspired by Shannon West's box from SU! Leadership. My big change was to the construction of the sidewalls. Instead of clipping and having rough inside edges which would need to be covered by an inset cut out heart, I used the scallop punch. My second change was to add a sidewall to the lid as well as the bottom. Hershey Carmel Kisses are the perfect color candy to fill the box.
