Wedding Cake

I love the addition of the butterflies. The stamp comes from the Dream du Jour stamp set from Stampin' Up!

3-D Cake Die is So Fun

If you need a quick birthday or wedding card, this is not the one. If you have about 45 minutes to construct a great card front and a fabulous pop-up for the inside then try something like this. The brand new die cut being released through Stampin' Up! by Sizzix this April 1st is tons of fun. I have several more cakes and special ideas I'll be posting in the next week.

Great Friend = Great New Stamp Set

What a really cool new stamp set from Stampin' Up! Great Friend is. It's a fairly inexpensive set and has pieces that coordinate to create interesting cards without having to get out a second stamp set. Keep checking back for more cards made with these stamps. Check your Occasions Mini Catalog to order the set. The mini starts on April 1st, no joke, and there is some AWESOME things to drool over.

Sale-A-Bration Goodies

There are just a few more days left of SAB. With each $50 order you can choose a stamp set, paper, or ribbon bundle. These are projects using the Delicate Dots dsp and the Polka Dot Punches, Botanical Blooms, and the Yummy stamp sets.

Quick Top Note Box

To make this quick Top Note carrier bag try using the Box #2 Bigz die. Simply line the edge of the paper on the Box #2 die to NOT cut the top flaps. Assemble the box and adhere to the Top Note pieces. The butterfly comes from the Stampin' Up! exclusive die called Beautiful Butterflies. I used Sahara Sand cardstock along with Delicate Dots dsp.

Imitation Silk

If you take a close look at the flower you will notice a very cool texture. I call it "imitation silk." To get this look stamp your image on tissue paper and then crinkle it up in a ball. Open the tissue out flat and apply to a piece of cardstock which has been covered with glue stick. Once the glue is dry stamp an image again using a darker color, cut it out and use as a focal point on a card. This beautiful card was made by Dena R. She used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Going Green

I just really like how this card turned out. I included a series of greens in my color palette. There is Old Olive, Sage Shadow, Certainly Celery, and Baja Breeze. I used a rock-n-roll technique to ink up the "fill" color of the flower. The paper comes from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. You have got to love free paper, ribbon, and stamps.

Two Too Cute

These trendy little trees are too cute and I just love both of these cards made by Chari B. This set Trendy Trees was one of the first stamp sets I saw in the new catalog that really caught my eye. I must be the only demonstrator who has not ordered this Parisian DSP. It is so cool as it is textured and heavier weight than the other DSPs. And the color palette is one of my favorites. I guess I'll need to fork out a few bucks and get myself a pack. Stay tuned for more samples using this set.

It's All Good!

Everything about this card is totally perfect. I love the color palette, the stamps, the hardware clip, and most of all the designer -- Julie B. It's all good and all supplies are from Stampin' Up!

Box #2 Big Shot Die

This die cut is super cool. If you are thinking of getting a new die for your personal die cutting machine, I highly recommend this one. It goes together with one piece of sticky tape and holds a dozen Hershey's Nuggets. The DSP on this little box comes from the Raspberry Tart collection. Enjoy.
