At my last Technique Time! class we made these very cute Spring baskets. The best thing about them are the circle tags. The carrot embellishments are clipped from the Flower Fusion Accents and Elements from SU! I crimped sheets of Old Olive DSP and then ran them through my paper shredder to make the filler grass. The basket bottom was made from a 6 x 6 piece of DSP. Really these are SUPER CUTE!

Lot of Fun!
Several of us had lots of fun last night making nine different projects using the Love and Happiness rub ons from Stampin' Up!
Here are just a few of the cards. The brown flower card is pretty cool when you see it in person. To get the dimensional look we used temporary adhesive to tack down the Groovy Guava piece of cardstock, then we applied the rub on, then we carefully
cut the rub on with an Exacto knife along the edge of the guava, pulled the guava piece up, added pop dots, and then repositioned piece back on the card.Of course we added glitter to just about every card ;0)

A Gorgeous Bind It All Book
I can't tell you how much I love using my Bind It All. I have made quite a few scrapbooks in all sizes and bound them with my BIA. These are several pics of a 16 page book I made for a friend. She needed a book in lavender colors so I used the Mon Amie dsp, Carte Postale stamp set, and the French Flair background stamp from SU!. I plan to offer this book as a class/kit in the near future using the Le Jardin dsp.
enjoy!

Rub On Fever!
Rub Ons are awesome. They boldly go where no stamp has ever been. I put them everywhere: on ribbon, tins, plastic, felt flowers, glass and ceramic, paper, buttons, charms, brads, eyelets, you name it.
I am having a Customer Appreciation stamp class featuring the Love and Happiness rub ons. The class is Wednesday, March 26th it's BYORO (Bring Your Own Rub Ons). All supplies are FREE!
This is How You Do It!
In my very first post I said I would let you know how to achieve this look after my Technique Time class. I call it Two-Step Watercoloring. This is how you do it...
1. Ink a stamp with two or three brush markers being sure to use the lightest color first, the next darkest, and then the very darkest.
2. Lightly mist a piece of heavy watercolor paper with water and evenly spread to cover the entire surface.
3. Stamp inked image onto wet paper and set aside to dry or heat set.
4. Re-ink the same image with the same colors and stamp directly over the first image.
5. Add touches of glitter and add to cardfront.
To see the full card and list of supplies refer back to my very first post, "There is Always a First For Everything."

This Weekend's Workshop!
One of my favorite things to do is workshops. Yesterday I was lucky to be in my friends home to show some new and old techniques. The old technique was the use of Crystal FX. I showed the new Die Cut Blooms and Picnic DSP with the Tart and Tangy stamp set. I was inspired by a card I saw online to add the Crystal FX to the orange slice stamp which takes this card from cool to SUPER COOL.
The new technique I shared at the workshop was how to custom dye the flowers from the Pretties Kit. We first painted the flower with an Aqua Painter and plain water. Then we touched reinker direct to the flower and distributed the ink with an Aqua Painter. We heat set them for a quick dry and then applied Dazzling Diamonds glitter with the Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive. The finished card is 5.25" square Purely Pomegranate with square patches of Too Cute DSP.
