Creation Station Trees and Textures

Today is the day, Sunday May 6, for another Creation Station Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is quite broad, it's trees and texture.  You could make just about anything, but I took it super literal and stamped trees that have texture.  All the images, except the greetings, on this trio of cards have a unique texture.  Keep scrolling and I tell you more.
For each of the nature scenes I did a two step stamp process combined with heat embossing.
Step 1.)  Stamp image in Whisper White.
Step 2.)  Clean image and stamp over the white impression using any Classic Ink color.  I like to be slightly offset to create shadows and highlights.
Step 3.)  Work quickly to finish scene then heat emboss entire piece with a mixture of powder.  Combine Clear Embossing Powder with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to make a custom sparkling look.  Be sure to have more Clear EP than the glitter to allow it to bind, heat, and melt.
The embossing is a subtle look which is difficult to see in these photos, but in person WOW they are super cool.  I think these cards are rather masculine and impressive which makes them perfect for when you need something for a gentleman.
You can see each card is the same layout/design just slightly varied in measurements.  I included Linen Thread and Basic Rhinestones as finishing touches for each card.  My cardstock colors are Tranquil Tide, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White.  For the inks I stamped with Whisper Whtie, Tranquil Tide, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Pacific Point, Blueberry Bushel, and Pool Party.
Get ready for some more inspiration because your next stop is with the fabulous Sara Levin.
