Creation Station Serene Scenery

Can you believe it's July?  Time goes so quick, but the great thing about the start of a new month is that it's time for a Creation Station Blog Hop.  I love this Hop.  I am so blown away by the team of designers and tickled pink to be amongst them.  For this month's 'Gifts of the Garden' Hop I have a trio of simple Serene Scenery cards tucked in a gusseted envelope.
The Serene Scenery DSP Stack is so totally AWESOME!  One side of every page is a photograph of guess what?  Scenery!  The opposite side is pattern print of the same color as the photo side.  It's the perfect match.
To decorate my little gift I used scraps from my three cards.  I punched the leftover pieces with a 1" Circle Punch and stitched them together to make a garland trim to wrap around a belly band for the envelope box.  Then I added a Metallic Doily and a cute banner.  The banner was so easy to make thanks to the (have to have it) Banners for You Bundle.
Check out these simple 4 1/4" square beauties!  Each has a square piece of Serene Scenery DSP, a white heat embossed "live laugh love" greeting, a coordinating Bakers Twine shoestring bow, and a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper frame.  I cut the Glittery frames using the Layering Squares Framelits.

My plan for these cards is to tuck a gift card inside each one and let the recipient go out and truly live it up, laugh out loud, and love like crazy!
My wish is for you all to have a great weekend and for those here in America, Happy Fourth of July!  Now get ready for one of my most favorite stampers ever--Dena Rekow :0)

  1. Very nice gift packet of cards. I love the garland and I love the inset and popped out glitter frame on the cards. What a great idea! I'm wondering though, how did you make the gusseted envelope?
