Birthday Sketch

It's time again for another fabulous sketch hosted by Hand Stamped Sentiments.  This one is super versatile and streamlined without lots of bits and layers which makes for a starting point for a great card.

I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" Raspberry Ripple card base and then I embossed it with the Lacy Brocade folder.  Then I layered a piece of Birthday Basics DSP and a Very Vanilla panel stamped with an image from Sketched Birthday.  I inked all the images with Stampin' Write Markers which is my MOST favorite technique of all time.  I used colors directly from the DSP; Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, and Bermuda Bay.  What's super cool about the Sketched Birthday stamp set is that is coordinates with Itty Bitty Banner Framelits.  I love the look of the banners layered over the Gumball Green Artisan Label punched piece.  Do be sure to check out all the fun takes on this sketch over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
