Subway Art Over the Rainbow

A perfectly timed challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments is all about rainbows.  You can make anything that includes this week's theme of rainbows.  It could be a card, scrapbook page, 3-D item, party favor or whatever comes to mind.

I have paired a quick and simple card with a yummy and adorable goodie celebrating St. Patrick' Day.  My card was fast and simple thanks to the Lucky Frameable Template for My Digital Studio.  I shrunk the subway art styled template to fit an A2 sized card added a few bits o' bling and Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine and walla a card.

My goodie bag is sweet with it's rainbow of licorice where you definitely find gold.  I know I have said it before that I love candy and Rolos are one of those many candies that I love.  I bite them once and let the chocolate melt in my mouth then I enjoy the caramel.

For a super fast bit o' holiday decor I resized the template to fit a 5" x 7" frame, printed it out on Whisper White card stock, added three more bits o' bling to the outside of the glass, and walla a framed piece of subway art.  Just a note to let people know that I am a tad goofy.  I really have a hard time saying subway art because in the Bay Area the only subways serve $5 foot longs.  So, since we have the Bay Area Rapid Transit, aka Bart, I will forever refer to subway art as BART ART!  You heard it here first.

Happy craftin, Elizabeth

Your card and matching framed 'bart art' ROCK and I'm sure will keep all of those little green men at bay! Thanks for playing along this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
