Spring Has Sprung!

Here at my house in San Jose California Spring started popping blossoms in January.  White, pale pink, hot pink, and yellow blossoms have been falling to the ground as if a light snowfall which just barely covers the ground.

In the Occasions Mini Catalog there is a great collection of bright and cheerful designer papers, card stocks, and embellishments perfect for welcoming spring and everything sweet and happy.  It's called Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' and it's fabulously fun.

For my card I paired the Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' kit with the Easy Events stamp set.  I stamped the duck image on three pieces of card stock, cut out the individual elements, and then paper pieced them all back together for a striking palette of saturated color.  The tag, the chick paper ribbon, and the half circle pennants all come from the kit--so cute!

The Paper Players are hosting a Spring Has Sprung Challenge this week where I have included my card.  Pop over there and be inspired.
